AWE is pleased to announce the appointment of Alfonso Barrera as Field Sales Specialist, effective June 2025. Barrera brings a wealth of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry, reinforcing AWE's commitment to strengthening its sales and support efforts.

Barrera joins Garrett Kabinoff, who has been leading AWE's “East of the Mississippi” Field Sales Program for three years. Kabinoff, a Field Sales Specialist at AWE since August 2022, previously served as Sales Manager at Holley Performance Products and provided Technical Support at DiabloSport, Inc.

Barrera's career includes significant roles as a Territory Sales Manager at Interstate Batteries and a Field Support Representative at MagnaFlow, where he honed his skills in automotive aftermarket sales, new business development, and customer relationship management. Prior to this, he served as an International Sales Representative at Keystone Automotive Operations for over eleven years. His extensive background demonstrates a proven track record in driving sales growth and providing exceptional field support.

“Alfonso's deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket and his impressive sales background make him a valuable addition to the AWE team,” stated AWE VP of Sales, Darron Shubin. “His experience will be instrumental in expanding our reach and ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and support.”

Barrera will be responsible for further developing AWE’s presence in the field, supporting AWE’s rapidly expanding territories, and spreading the news that AWE lives up to its tagline, "The best sounding exhausts on the planet." He will be traveling in a modified 2024 Ford F-150 outfitted with AWE's 0FG Exhaust so dealers can experience the AWE product firsthand. He will work closely with dealers and distributors to expand market share and enhance customer relationships. His expertise in the automotive sector will be crucial in supporting AWE’s continued growth and innovation.
