AWE, the precision engineering firm based outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has announced the release of its new AWE Exhaust Suite for the BMW G42 M240i: a full 3” straight-through system engineered for more flow, more power, and more attitude.
“The B58 has always had more to give than the factory exhaust lets it show. We built a full 3” straight-through system to get out of its way via 65% more flow, and proven power gains at the wheels on stock software. Touring Edition keeps it composed with 180 Technology® so you're not fighting drone on the highway, and Track Edition strips that back for anyone who wants the M240i turned all the way up,” said Josh Davis, Creative Director at AWE.
Handcrafted from 3” CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-made .065” wall T304L stainless steel, the AWE Exhaust Suite is built with a clean, straight-through design that maximizes flow and gives the G42 a soundtrack to match its performance. The system is available in two distinct personalities — Touring Edition and Track Edition — so M240i owners can dial in exactly how loud they want to go.
