AWE, the precision engineering firm based outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has announced the release of its new AWE Catback Exhaust for the 2021+ Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon, Yukon XL 5.3L.
"Cylinder deactivation kills most aftermarket exhausts. The drone shows up right when four cylinders shut off. We tuned the mid muffler and resonator around that transition, so it stays deep on eight and composed on four. The biggest thing in the parking lot finally sounds like it," said Josh Davis, Creative Director at AWE.
Handcrafted from 3" CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065" wall T304L stainless steel, the AWE Catback is built with a clean, straight-through design that maximizes flow and finally gives the Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon and Yukon XL a soundtrack that matches their size. Standard and XL wheelbases are covered across both GM brands, with tip options for every bumper style Chevrolet and GMC offering.
