On April 23rd, 2014 we set a pump-fuel world record, with an 11.883 second ¼ mile run at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland, at 116.49 mph.
To unlock the power in the 3.0T, we added AWE Performance Exhaust and Downpipes AWE B8.5 Stage 2 Pulley Kit with G.I.A.C. Performance Software G.I.A.C. DL501 S-Tronic Performance Transmission Software AWE S-FLO Carbon Kit and the AWE ® ColdFront System. An AWE Vent Mounted Boost Gauge keeps track of the charge air and adds a touch of aftermarket performance to the cabin. Rolling on extremely lightweight 20x10” Forgeline VX3C wheels the AWE Tuning S5 is brought to a halt by Brembo 380mm 6-piston brakes and glued to the road with H&R Street Performance Coilovers H&R Front and Rear Sway Bars and SPC Upper Control Arms. Audi’s Samoa Orange paint is complemented with a EuroGear Carbon Fiber Splitter Audi Black Optic Front Grille and an AWE Tuning Prototype Trunk Lip Spoiler.
