THE TOURING EDITIONS:
Axleback: The AWE Touring Edition Axleback retains the factory mid-section and replaces the rear with a drone-free, 3” T304L stainless configuration, featuring AWE’s patented 180 Technology®.
Catback: The Touring Edition Catback is available with resonated or non-resonated mid-pipes, both offering a deep, refined tone without drone. Resonated mid-pipes are slightly more mellow; non-resonated delivers a bit more edge. Both versions include a precision-engineered X-pipe and full 3” stainless tubing. Conversion Kits allow switching between resonated/non-resonated or Touring/Track configurations at any time.
Note: AWE Catbacks fit Gen 6 ZL1 Coupes (auto trans only). Not compatible with convertible models.
THE TRACK EDITIONS:
Axleback: The Track Edition Axleback removes 180 Technology® for a raw, aggressive tone. It replaces the rear section only, keeping the stock mid-pipe, and delivers max volume at the most accessible price.
Warning: Extremely loud. Not for the faint of heart. Not returnable for sound reasons.
Catback: Available with resonated or non-resonated mid-pipes, Track Edition Catbacks deliver the most aggressive tone in the lineup. Resonated versions tone it down slightly, but both are designed to wake the neighbors. Built with 3” T304L stainless, precision X-pipe, and no 180 Technology®.

What is 180 Technology®?
AWE's patented 180 Technology® works a little something like this: As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers.
Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. Depending on the sound requirements of each vehicle, AWE acoustic engineers adjust the size and location of the ports and the chambers. By controlling the size and location of these key elements, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

AWE 180 Technology® is not on a “one size fits all” concept. Rather, AWE engineers design sound cancelation resonators based upon the specific acoustics generated by vehicle types, thereby ensuring perfect sound, every time. Summary
The AWE Lifetime Exhaust Warranty on select AWE exhaust products protects against manufacturer defects. Manufacturer defect is defined as any characteristic of the product which hinders its usability for the purpose for which it was designed and manufactured. The warranty against manufacturer defects doesn’t cover any cosmetic changes, or normal use wear and tear. All warranties cease at a product’s discontinuance.This applies only to AWE brand exhaust tubing, welding, flex areas.

The AWE No CEL (Check Engine Light) Guarantee is noted on certain AWE products, and offers peace of mind against the appearance of Check Engine Lights when products are installed properly and used as intended, on vehicles with no additional modifications, with the exception of other AWE products intended to work with the product in question.

One year from date of new product purchase (proof of purchase required).
Action
Repair, replace or consult toward resolution at AWE’s discretion.

Shipping
Customer is responsible for all shipping costs. If AWE deems the item to be defective and the item is either repaired or replaced by AWE, shipping within the US is covered by AWE.
Restocking fee
There is no restocking fee.

Consultation toward resolving installation issues. Should AWE deem that installation issue is due solely to a manufacturing defect, AWE will issue a replacement product or portion of product, free of charge.

If claim is determined by AWE at its sole discretion to be a manufacturer defect, AWE will cover two-way shipping to AWE either from consumer or dealer, and back to either consumer or dealer. AWE may also request a “Destroy in Field” of any defective parts.
