THE TREAD EDITION CATBACK:
Handcrafted from U.S.-sourced 3” T304L stainless steel, the Tread Edition is a full, straight-through catback system designed for drivers who want aggressive tone without drone.
It features a bespoke resonator in the mid pipe, followed by AWE’s patented, drone-canceling 180 Technology®, right before the rear axle (i.e. where the cabin ends). This combination provides the Gladiator’s 3.6L with a sophisticated, full-bodied soundtrack completely controllable via the throttle (we drove it from Moab to our HQ in Pennsylvania, so we know!). With increased throttle, the Gladiator roars with aggression, but at highway speeds, the cabin is free of any drone, and volume is similar to stock.
The Tread Editions come with tips, unlike the Trail Edition below.
Tips included:
Single Side Exit: 5” double-walled, straight-cut tip
Dual Side Exit: 5” tips exiting just behind each rear wheel (under factory or aftermarket fender flares)

What is 180 Technology®?
AWE's patented 180 Technology® works a little something like this: As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers.
Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. Depending on the sound requirements of each vehicle, AWE acoustic engineers adjust the size and location of the ports and the chambers. By controlling the size and location of these key elements, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

AWE 180 Technology® is not on a “one size fits all” concept. Rather, AWE engineers design sound cancelation resonators based upon the specific acoustics generated by vehicle types, thereby ensuring perfect sound, every time. Lifetime Exhaust Warranty
Summary
The AWE Lifetime Exhaust Warranty on select AWE exhaust products protects against manufacturer defects. Manufacturer defect is defined as any characteristic of the product which hinders its usability for the purpose for which it was designed and manufactured. The warranty against manufacturer defects doesn’t cover any cosmetic changes, or normal use wear and tear. All warranties cease at a product’s discontinuance.This applies only to AWE brand exhaust tubing, welding, flex areas.
