AWE, the precision engineering firm based outside Philadelphia, has announced the release of three new exhaust suites for the Chevrolet C6 Corvette—covering the ‘05-’08 Corvette Base 6.0L/6.2L, ‘06-’13 Corvette Z06/ZR1 7.0L/6.2L, and ‘09-’13 Corvette Base/Grand Sport 6.2L. 

“AWE R&D does not typically go “backwards” in vehicle generations - we tend to focus on the latest models. In this case, the demand was overwhelming for AWE’s modern take on a C6 exhaust. What’s fun about C6 is unlike the parts that have been out for over two decades, AWE was able to utilize present-day exhaust performance, sound, and quality standards for these legendary sports cars,” explained AWE Chief Marketing Officer, Jesse Kramer.

The AWE Exhaust Suites for the C6 Corvette feature modular axlebacks and bespoke X-pipes tailored for the LS platform, allowing compatibility with factory mid pipes or axlebacks. Drivers will have the option between AWE’s signature Touring Edition featuring patented drone-canceling 180 Technology®, or the unfiltered Track Edition, with each coming complete with quad 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips in chrome silver or diamond black.
