Below are comparision dyno tests as performed on our Mustang MD-500-SE AWD dyno.
All tests were performed on the same car (05 997S belonging to our friends at Motomodz), with controlled ambient conditions. Each test is the best of 3 runs performed.

Stock Mufflers vs AWE Tuning Mufflers

(Above) Swapping in AWE Tuning mufflers for the stock muffler results in a nice gain in power. Gains at the power peaks were 4.4 wheel hp and 4.6 wheel torque. Using a 1.16 correction factor, this results in gains of ~5.1 crank hp and 5.3 crank tq.
Stock Mufflers vs AWE Tuning Mufflers, Graphed Differences

(Above) Graph of measured differences between baseline and test in dyno sheet of 997S stock mufflers vs AWE Tuning mufflers. The AWE Tuning mufflers produced a maximum increase of 8 wheel hp at 4500 rpms and 9.5 wheel torque at 4500 rpms vs. the stock mufflers. Using a 1.16 correction factor, this results in gains of ~9.3 crank hp and 11 crank tq, with a broad increase of power across the powerband.
Stock Mufflers and Cats vs AWE Tuning Mufflers and Hi-Flow Cats

(Above) Swapping in AWE Tuning mufflers and Hi-Flow cat sections for the stock muffler and cat sections results in a major gain in power. Gains at the power peaks were 27.4 wheel hp and 31.6 wheel torque. Using a 1.16 correction factor, this results in gains of ~31.8 crank hp and 36.7 crank tq!
Stock Mufflers and Cats vs AWE Tuning Mufflers and Hi-Flow Cats, Graphed Differences

(Above) Graph of measured differences between baseline and test in dyno sheet of 997S stock mufflers and cats vs AWE Tuning mufflers and Hi-Flow cats. The AWE Tuning mufflers and Hi-Flow cats produced a maximum increase of 32 wheel hp at 4800 rpms and 36 wheel torque at 4500 rpms vs. the stock mufflers. Using a 1.16 correction factor, this results in huge gains of ~37.1 crank hp and 41.8 crank tq, with a very broad increase of power across the powerband.
Stock Mufflers, Cats, and Headers vs AWE Tuning Mufflers, Hi-Flow Cats, and Headers

(Above) Swapping in AWE Tuning mufflers, Hi-Flow cat sections, and merge collector headers for the stock muffler and cat sections results in another substantial gain in power. Gains at the power peaks were 33.7 wheel hp and 26.8 wheel torque. Using a 1.16 correction factor, this results in a total gain of ~39.1 crank hp and 31.1 crank tq for the AWE Tuning 997S Exhaust System vs stock. While the addition of the AWE Tuning headers results is a slight loss of torque vs our mufflers and cats with the stock headers, the gain of 6.3 wheel hp (7.3 crank hp) adds a big bump in power at the sweet spot of this engine.
Stock Mufflers, Cats, and Headers vs AWE Tuning Mufflers, Hi-Flow Cats, and Headers Graphed Differences

(Above) Graph of measured differences between baseline and test in dyno sheet of 997S stock mufflers, stock cats, and stock headers vs AWE Tuning mufflers, AWE Tuning Hi-Flow cats, and AWE Tuning headers. The AWE Tuning mufflers, Hi-Flow cats, and headers produced a maximum increase of 33.7 wheel hp at 6750 rpms and 37 wheel torque at 4200 rpms vs. the stock mufflers, cats, and headers. Using a 1.16 correction factor, this results in huge gains of ~39.1 crank hp and 42.9 crank tq, with an increase of power across virtually the entire powerband.
