AWE Tuning Introduces ColdFront™ Coolant Pump for B8 and B8.5 Audis.

AWE Tuning introduced its ColdFront™ Coolant Pump for the B8 and B8.5 3.0T S4 and S5 today.

AWE Tuning ® ColdFront™ products are designed and conceptualized in-house at AWE Tuning to minimize heat soak during aggressive driving and high temperature operation of 3.0T powertrains found in B8 and B8.5 chassis Audi models.

The ColdFront™ Coolant Pump is a new addition to the AWE Tuning ® ColdFront™ family of products. Manufactured by Meziere Enterprises, a company with nearly three decades of experience in the high-performance cooling system market, the ColdFront™ Coolant Pump replaces the stock heat exchanger coolant pump and provides an increased flow rate in excess of 100% greater than the factory pump it replaces.

“We found that by adding the ColdFront™ Coolant Pump to the existing ColdFront™ Heat Exchanger and ColdFront™ Reservoir already installed on our B8.5 S5,” Vice President of Marketing Jesse Kramer stated “we were able to stabilize IATs and keep wheel horsepower figures solid, even after 8 back-to-back blasts on our dyno.”
