CC 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust
Featuring a straight through resonator combined with a specially tuned Helmholtz Resonator, our CC 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust has a velvety smooth European tone that is quiet under part throttle, around town cruising, yet produces an more aggressive (yet still sophisticated) note at full throttle.
The CC 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust is topped off with our signature 3.5" slash cut exhaust tips, available in Polished Silver or Diamond Black plating. The tips sport precision stamped AWE Tuning logos and are double walled to ensure a mirror polish even under hard usage. The system has multiple slip joints with high quality t-bolt clamps, to allow optimal adjustment. Each tip is individually adjustable, so stagger and depth into bumper can be set according to personal taste.
CC 2.0T Downpipe
The factory downpipe chokes the TSI engine. With two very restrictive catalytic converters in place, the OE downpipe was not made with performance in mind.
We started by replacing these units with a German made high flow HJS metal catalyst. We also incorporated an integrated resonator to keep the exhaust sound volume civilized even with the elimination of the very restrictive factory converters.
Combined with the Touring Edition Exhaust, the AWE Tuning CC 2.0T Downpipe unlocks an impressive +21hp and +20tq at the crank.
For those that want it all, combine our Touring Edition Exhaust and Downpipe for the ultimate in power gains and sophisticated sound.

Please note that due to the use of high flow catalytic converters, our downpipe section is legal only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.
AWE Tuning CC 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust Dyno Test
Below are comparison dyno tests as performed on our Mustang MD-500-SE AWD dyno.
All tests were performed on the same car, CC 2.0T DSG with G.I.A.C. Stage 1 Software, with controlled ambient conditions.
(Above) The addition of the AWE Tuning CC 2.0T Exhaust System results in a improvement in power. Gains at the power peaks were 2 wheel hp and 2 wheel torque.
(Above) The addition of the AWE Tuning CC 2.0T Downpipe results in a solid improvement in power. Gains at the power peaks were 13 wheel hp and 10 wheel torque. This results in gains of 13.2 crank hp and 12.1 crank tq.
(Above) The addition of the AWE Tuning CC 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust and Downpipe results in a massive improvement in power. Gains at the power peaks were 15 wheel hp and 12 wheel torque. This results in gains of 15.4 crank hp and 13.2 crank tq.
